Our 5-frame overwintered nucleus colonies are prepared during the spring of the previous year. Both the queen and the workers have demonstrated proven survival capabilities through the winter.
 
The hives may vary in strength but will include at least three frames of brood, along with one or two frames containing a mix of pollen/bee bread and nectar/honey.
 
The nucs are ready for pickup starting from late april till late May. The pickup schedle will be notified through email or phone contact, and will be fullfilled based on the time of ordering, FCFS. 
 
We use Jestor boxes and actively encourage recycling. If the boxes are returned within 30 days of delivery, we will refund $20 for each box.
